Dr. Yoonjae Jang graduated from Hanyang University’s College of Law (2011) and received Master of Law (2015) and Ph. D. in Law (2019) from Hanyang University Graduate School.

Dr. Jang worked for the Korea Corporate Governance Service for about five years, providing ESG rating services and advice to more than 800 listed companies annually, and advising institutional investors such as the National Pension Service on proxy voting. In addition, based on ESG rating practices and research, he led the improvement of ESG rating models and code of best practices. In particular, he worked as a special advisor for the special committee on responsible investment and governance of the National Pension Fund Management Committee and reviewed numerous agendas related to the NPS’s ESG investment and active ownership.

Dr. Jang has been consulting on Corporate Governance and Investor Activism, Responsible Investment Strategy, and ESG Management in Shin & Kim since 2022.
