French of Korean origin, Habbine Estelle KIM is dual qualified lawyer licenced to practice in Paris and New York. She is currently Partner of Archè SELARL, a boutique international law firm having its main office in Paris, France.

Prior to joining Archè SELARL, she worked in the European Legal & Compliance Department of Samsung Electronics UK (Europe Office) as well as international law firms in France, the United Kingdom, Singapore and South Korea. Habbine’s experience in EU, civil and US/UK common law allowed her to intervene in diverse international projects requiring a multilingual expertise. They include both contentious and non-contentious matters in areas such as commercial and corporate law, international arbitration (ICC, KCAB), litigation and labour law. Habbine earned her LL.B degree at University College London and LL.M degree in Law, Economics and Management, with a major in EU Law at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She now serves as Regional Governor (France) of IAKL, Legal Expert Counsel of HEC Incubator – Station F for startups and Consultation Committee Member of European Law Institute. She continuously contributes to the academic legal literature, namely through publications on current topics such as compliance in sustainability, digital markets and decentralisation. She speaks English, French, Korean and Spanish.
